“Innovating is converted in a key element for our competitivity and sustainability”

The societies each time more mobile and in a constant evolution need transportation concepts that are at the forefront and be each time more innovative, sustainable and efficient with appropriate infrastructures. Answering this improvement demand in the processes, technological advances and quality service for the society, in our I+D+i program, we are immersed in the development of new materials and products, and in the processes design more efficient that bring an added value and that can be at the same time sustainable.

Our investigation lines are now focused on the development of new material that will optimize the maintenance tasks and substitute gradually traditional alternatives.

COLORED FIBER BOARD FOR IN SITU APPLICATIONS WITH ONE APPLICATION

The main technological goal of the project is the development of a new colored asphalt fiber board<br /> for its implementation in bike-traffic paths, bike paths, that substitute the traditional alternatives improving adhesion and resistence to efforys and charges, that will contribute to reduce the maintenance task frequency.

CONSTRUCTIVE SOLUTION WITH DRAINED FIBER BOARD

This project appears as an answer to the necessity of including a bike path in a pedestrian landscaped zone with centenary trees. The goal is to create an infrastructure that will improve the neighbors' mobility, without damaging or harming the existent flora, that's why a bike path has been created with a constructive drained solution to optimize the vegetation watering and the possible step for the roots on the subsoil through this.

FIBER BOARD WITH BEAUTIFUL POLISHED FINISHING TOUCH

The main goal of this project is the development of a new constructive solution made with sand and gravel where the pavement is polished and the sand and gravel is seen as a decorative area with contrasts between the thin and thick sand and gravel. A perfect solution for public environments destinated to pedestrian traffic.

VERY THIN ASPHALTIC FIBER BOARD

The main goal of this project is to develop a new dash bituminous mix that allow the implementation of rolling layer in an approximative thickness of 1,2 – 1,7cm, reduction of a 62% according to the thickness that is now placed as a rolling layer, maintaining physical, mechanic, chimical and lifetime proprieties of this one.
